Daily Chinese Almanac

Rooted in Traditional Chinese Science: Observing the cosmos through Yin-Yang Astronomy, Solar-Lunar Cycles, and the 24 Solar Terms. For over three millennia, this system has served as an ancient environmental guide. We do not predict the future; instead, we read the environmental context to help you align your actions with the natural order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this fortune-telling?

No. The Chinese Almanac is an ancient environmental guide rooted in astronomy and agricultural cycles. It helps you align your activities with the natural rhythm of the seasons, not predict your future or guarantee specific outcomes.

Why do you use terms like "Ancestral Connection" or "Energy Activation"?

We translate the original Chinese concepts into modern, actionable language. "Ancestral Connection" refers to honoring heritage, "Intention Setting" is focusing your mind, and "Energy Activation" means starting a project with awareness. These are tools for mindfulness, not mystical rituals.

How is the daily guidance determined?

Our daily guidance is generated from the traditional Chinese lunisolar calendar using the *Shíxié Biànfāng Shū* (Imperial Bureau of Calendar, 1742) method: the solar longitude determines the 24 Solar Terms; the lunar phase determines the date; the *Jiànchú* (12 Spirit) table determines the auspicious / inauspicious activities.
